Skincare Advice

There are a few common skin conditions that are not simple problems, and will not go away by themselves, or with facials and creams.

Rosacae

Rosacae is a redness of the face, flushing and pimples.

It is a very common skin condition which, if not treated appropriately will get worse leading to chronic redness of the face (due to broken blood vessels), psychological and social problems.

Acne

Acne is usually associated with teenagers but it can also persist into adulthood. If untreated it can cause scarring of the skin, and a pustular rash on the face, chest and back. It needs medical assessment and treatment.

Hirsuitism

Hirsuitism is extra hair growth and can occur on the face, neck, abdomen and thighs.

It is quite a common condition and can understanably cause quite severe psychologcal issues. It is a condition that needs medical assessment and treatment, and can be managed quite effectively.

Photodamage

Sun exposure is damaging to the skin, particularily in people with fairer complexions. It can lead to premature lines, brown spots, and lack of freshness of the skin.

A range of options can help to significantly reduce the effects of photodamage and aging.
